Eye pad, sterile

My wife alway takes the piss out of me because I take our Survival first aid kit/Snake bite kit where ever we go. My Family and I were recently away camping with friends. Unfortunately my daughter suffered a dog bite to the face. The ease at which I was able to deploy the Survival first aid kit certainly took a lot of anxiety out of a tense situation. The lay out and labelling of the kit prevented a lot of fumbling and bumbling. The cotton gauze, saline, wound cleaner swabs, and bandaids allowed me to treat the wounds and prevent any infection until we could get back to civilisation.

Of course when it rains it pours. As I was treating my daughter another child stepped on a hot coal. The fact that I had the hydro burn gel, saline and wound dressings readily available allowed me to quickly soothe the child's burn and treat their wounds.
